High School - Dual Credit Program

Want to make the best use of your day?
Use early dismissal from high school to take Greenville Tech classes in the afternoon. Or, take classes for high school and college credit at your local career center. You graduate with college credit that will:
- Let you experience college work.
- Help you explore career options.
- Allow you to lighten your load or finish college ahead of schedule.
- Save you time and money.
What are Dual Credit classes?
Dual Credit classes are college classes you can take while you're still in high school. Getting a jump start on college means you can lighten your load in college or even graduate early. You'll save money too, since Greenville Tech is affordable and Dual Credit tuition grants may be available. And since these classes award college credit when you pass the class rather than taking an additional exam, Dual Credit is a great way to begin your college career.

I'm planning to earn an associate degree. Is Dual Credit for me?
For those who plan a career in a high-tech area, Dual Credit gives you the chance to make sure you've chosen a field you will enjoy! You'll probably spend eight to ten hours a day on the job – two thirds of the time you are awake! So if you don't enjoy what you are doing, you'll be wasting your time.
